Town of Hamlet Receives Grant Funding from Community Crossings Initiative

The Town of Hamlet located in northern Starke County was one of 189 Indiana cities, towns, and counties that were awarded funding for local roads during the January call for projects.  The Town will receive $257,969.62 in grant funding.  A total of 229 communities applied for funding in this most recent round, and the successful applicants will receive a total of $115M.  The next round will be held in July of this year.

Ron Gifford has worked for the Foundation as Special Projects Coordinator since 2008 after a law career of 32 years. In addition to his duties for the Foundation, Mr. Gifford serves as Director of the Starke County Initiative for Lifelong Learning (SCILL) and as a Business Advisor for the Indiana Small Business Development Center, serving businesses and entrepreneurs in both Starke and Pulaski Counties.
